Thrown on the wheel this bottle vase is made from a black stoneware clay. It is decorated with my own white crawl glaze. This glaze is added to the pot with a palette knife - too thick and it pops off, too thin and you don’t get the separation effect. This vase is not glazed on the inside. Although vitrified it is probably best to stick to dried flowers. Made in my studio in rural Hampshire. Part of my monochrome collection.
